On macOS, Singapore Rail supports:
The current service status of the line is listed in the sidebar. When there are no disruptions a green tick is displayed. If there are disruptions that result in service unavailability a red exclamation mark is shown. To find out more about the disruption, select that line. Right-click on the line to open up the Learn More context menu.
To refresh the line status click the refresh button in the top left of the sidebar.
The service availability at each station along the selected line is displayed in the central column. During service disruption, if you select a station a map is added to the Service Status view showing its location.
You can also right-click the station to open the View in Maps context menu. Selecting View in Maps will open the Maps app and display the station.
The Service Status view collates all details regarding a service disruption.
Alerts: This section displays all service alerts related to the incident. Alert messages are not localised and are displayed as-is.
Travel Direction: This section displays the direction of travel that is impacted.
Free Public Bus: If free public buses are operating between impacted stations, the stations that are being serviced are displayed here.
Free MRT Shuttle: If a free MRT shuttle is operating between impacted stations, the stations that are being serviced are displayed here.
Multiple windows can be opened via the File menu, or by using the keyboard shortcut
⌘ + N. You can then merge those windows to create tabs in the Window menu:
Window -> Merge All Windows.
Push notifications are configured in the app’s preferences pane (accessible via the keyboard shortcut
⌘ + ,). By default, you’ll be signed up for notifications across all MRT and LRT lines.
Push notifications are not localised and are displayed as-is.
